Lloyd McClendon
Hitting Coach
Former Major League player and manager. Lloyd is currently the hitting coach for the Detroit Tigers. Lloyd will be available for hitting lessons from October to February. *Special pricing applies.
Rich Bafia
Hitting Coach
Rich has worked with the Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres. He has trained 11 major league all-stars. Rich will be conducting baseball and softball hitting lessons.
Bo McClendon
Hitting Coach
Bo McClendon is a former Valparaiso University baseball player and a former minor league outfielder in the Detroit Tigers organization. He holds both the single-season and career records for stolen bases at Merrillville High School. Bo is the son of current Manager of the Seattle Mariners, Lloyd McClendon. He will be available for hitting lessons.
Laney Jones
Softball Coach
Currently the Assistant Coach at Valparaiso University. She started her college career at Ashland University where she won 21 games over her two seasons there and was a Second Team All-GLIAC selection in 2019. Laney finished her playing career at Marshall University where, as a senior, she was twice named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week. She is available for softball pitching, hitting, catching, and defensive lessons. PLEASE NOTE: Laney is only able to work with clients who are not high-school age (younger than high school). *Special pricing applies* $100/hour for pitching $50 half hour for all other skills
Zach Janssen
Baseball/Softball Coach
A college pitcher at Carthage College, located in Kenosha, WI where he was a member of the team that went to the College World Series in 2008. Zach currently pitches in a fast-ball 28 and over recreational league in Northwest Indiana. He offers pitching, hitting, and catching for baseball and hitting and catching for softball.
Ryan Troxel
Baseball Pitching Coach
Ryan Troxel was All-Area and Team MVP as a pitcher for Valparaiso High School in 2019 before pitching collegiately for Saint Xavier (2020) and Indiana Tech (2021-2023) where he was ALL-WHAC and a NAIA Champion of Character. He was named 2022 Northern League Pitcher of the Year with the Lake County Corn Dogs, where he still plays semi-professionally. Ryan is available for baseball pitching lessons.
Jake Morris
Baseball Hitting/Pitching Coach
Jake Morris played at Boone Grove High School and went on to play at Northland College in Wisconsin, where he was 1st-team All-UMAC. He finished his playing career at North Park University in Chicago. Jake currently coaches for New Trier Feeder Travel Ball. He is conducting Baseball hitting and pitching lessons.
Sara Hunter Camp
Softball Pitching Coach
Sara played for Purdue North Central and helped Defiance College win a Conference title and a trip to Regionals. She is the JV Coach at Lake Station High School. Sara will be conducting softball pitching lessons.
